Ardent for PeaceA man wanders the desert,
His feet with each step sinking through the frail sand.
He contemplates his life,
Wondering why he did what he had done.
He had just murdered the love of his life,
Who bared a child soon to be due.

When he committed this sin he had a reason,
But now he can't seem to remember.
As his knees hit the soft sand,
He lamented quietly.
Although quiet, the sound of shattering glass ruptured the silence of the desert,
As his tears fractured the delicate sand.
He loitered in this state of sorrow for the remaining nightfall.

Some fan art I did of May from the video game, Guilty Gear. This is for my older brother since his birthday is tomorrow. I don't play Guilty Gear(because my brother won't let me. -_-), but I love the characters. :D
I used Crayola colored pencils, Micron Ink pens, and a Dixon Ticonderoga pencil on this drawing. I hope you like it. :)

It looks like that one hook on the anchor got a little smooshed on the side of the page. Everything else looks really good though. It's a rare treat to find art that isn't digitized anymore.
